LG Drive DL Model: GSA-H10N :Burning data issue

I got a replacement drive from the computer store where i bought my computer from, as the old drive was taken in, dvd disk got stuck inside and would not come out any thing i tried within the warranty. So I took it back and 3 weeks later they call me and they say that drive is dis-continued. So i get the new drive and i try to backup some .avi files. It fails and states, "Error reading data" So I'm down 1 disk. I did a simulation and find out it's the files, but i viewed the files and they sound and see excellent quality.

This is the last few line from the log:

    #21 Text 0 File Cdrdrv.cpp, Line 1288
    16:11:30.546 - HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H10N\H0 T2 : Queue again later

    #22 TRANSFER -25 File Reader.cpp, Line 382
    Error reading data

    #23 Text 0 File Reader.cpp, Line 385
    Exception value: -1

    #24 Text 0 File ThreadedTransfer.cpp, Line 228
    all writers idle, stopping conversion

    #25 Text 0 File DVDR.cpp, Line 2708
EndDAO: Last written address was 1079551

    #26 Phase 34 File dlgbrnst.cpp, Line 1832
    Simulation failed at 8x (11,080 KB/s)

I know my system is more than good enough to run this burning, I have done it with the last drive. This new drive is new in the market the production date says April 2006. But maybe it needs to be flashed...? Please help, I'm running out of HD space!

    hello,
Can you please post a full burn log. With only a few lines there is no way of knowing what is all going on with your burn. Also I see that you mentioned .avi / how are you trying to burn that? Did you convert that to a compatable dvd file or are you just trying to burn the .avi and the format it is to a dvd?

OK here's the log error...I wasn't sure what was needed.
I burn them as data files and leave them as files, i prefer to watch them from the computer.

        'Drivers\nvata.sys'
bad business, roll back to ms default for ide optical drives

serial is fine but not for pata drives

        ritekf1's are very problematic

        WinAspi: File 'Wnaspi32.dll': Ver=4.60

I hate aspi from adaptec and windows xp
