Ram ????

Hello everyone,

I have upgraded my ram before but now i can not for the life of me remember what ram sticks I have in my computer. Is there a way to look that info up in my pc without having to take it all apart again to look at the sticks?

I know I am using DDR Ram, but that is all I remember I know if I take it appart I will have my answer but I am trying to avoid that until I have to.

I want to throw another gig of ram in the machine.

Nope, take it apart

Everest will give you the info. That's what I use. Belarc Advisor will also do it for you.

Oh lord dont reminde me of that one I am still looking for that same keyboard with no luck. LOL

Just one more thing is it easy to figure out how to find my ram or is there anything else I need to know?

I know there are 3 slots for ram sticks and I know my mother board will support 3 gigs of ram.

What would you recomend. I just may do that one day just not at comp usa they are so over priced unless I could get one with my instore credit but something tells me a better video card is going to cost more then the crapy dvd-r's I am returning.

you'll never use the extra ram unless you game heavy duty and that vid card sucks for gaming.
