you'll never use the extra ram unless you game heavy duty and that vid card sucks for gaming.

This is a good card for the money if you are using AGP and don't have option of PCI Express.. they usually get them back in stock quickly.

Hi PA,

If you go for a video card upgrade, make sure all the specs. are correct first, such as;

*voltage
*speed rating, i.e. 4x - 8x
*other particulars that chewy can probably fill you in on!

I personally like the ATI cards. I like the capture capabilities of them, & they have (usually) worked well for me, esp. now since anomy turned me on to the Omega drivers. Now I am using the ATI All in Wonder 9600; maybe not the best gaming card, not the worst either; but it works for me! I guess it all boils down to what your needs are.
