DVD/CD size settings for Epson Print CD?

I am using the Epson Print CD Software that came with my R220 Printer. All the CDs/DVDs that I am printing look great, however; I am ending up with an "unprinted" area (white ring) on the inner & outer areas of the disc.

I see that there is a custom size setting in the "Inner/Outer" dia. settings. Does anyone know what the settings should be for a standard size disc? (So I don't have to experiment & waste time & discs)

    Thanks!

I don't have hub-printables, but for the inkjet printables I use, I set the inside diameter to 37 mm, and the outer diameter to 120 mm.

      Hi Mikey,

Thaknk so much for those dimensions; I will give them a try. I just checked the default settings in my Print CD, & they are -

      Inner - 43mm
      Outer - 116 mm

So, it looks like your settings will do the trick! I will post back with my results & screenshots as soon as I get a chance.

      regards, katz

I've found it's different for EVERY batch I buy, even if they're the same brand/speed/surface. I keep a small stainless ruler at my desk to measure new packs with, and then I write it on tape on the outside of the spindle so I'll know what to set PrintCD for when I burn that disk.

A mm ruler is how I got my measurements to set to as well.

My settings are for Verbatims and they have never needed to be changed.

Well, you could certainly set them to 120mm x 20mm & leave them there, but you'd be wasting some ink & you might lose some artwork around the outer edge if your blanks have a noticeably smaller print area. That's why I measure each pack.

I've found that once you "center" the program, if you use a ruler to measure your disc before printing, it's spot on. I've found that different discs are indeed different in printing dimensions.

My settings for my Epson Print CD

                  12cm CD/DVD

                  inner diameter 43mm
                  outer diameter 116mm

I believe these are the default or factory settings, centered the picture on the disk when initial setup the Epson R220 and the disk picture is centered on the DVD disk.
