Creating An ISO Image File For Other Use

Is there a way how I can create an ISO Image File for burning home movies? I use VSO ConvertxToDVD when I convert my AVI files and I'm wondering if I can set VSO ConvertxToDVD to create an ISO Image File so that I can burn my home movies using IMG Burn.

Thnx blu & LT; I was wondering about that too. I see that I need to spend more time working w/ IMGburn. When you have used DVDD & other succesful programs for so long, it's kind of hard to make the change!

Many thanks to you both for the help. My other DVD problem seems to have gone now. I think it was because I skipped Analyze. Some DVDs say Analyze is not needed and I thought it was OK to skip it with all DVDs. I thought earlier that problem with the DVDs freezing on playback started somewhere when I started skipping Analyze. Do you two think that was the cause?

When I use Shrink to strip audio and to shrink a movie, I always use "Deep Analysis" and maximum smoothness. I find I get the best quality back up this way. It may be overkill, but I use multiShrink while I sleep. My computer works overnight and the output(s) is(are) ready to burn the next day.

The freezing on playback could be a burn issue. Scan your discs with CD/DVD speed and see how good they are burnt.

I would create a new thread in media and burning and post your Nero log with a scan so any other issues could be addressed.

I found the Build section. Two things that I'm not sure about. First, there's a destination section and I've never had to make a destination before burning a DVD before. Second, I managed to add a VIDEO_TS folder under Source in the big window and when I click on the big icon at the bottom I get a Save As window appearing. Save As File Type has ISO Image File (*.iso) selected, as it should. I created a folder to see what happens. I once-clicked on it and the Save icon turned into an Open icon. When I clicked on Open it only opened the folder that I created and the Open icon had changed to a Save icon. I don't know why IMG Burn has that Save As and Open thing when it comes to burning. I've already added the VIDEO_TS folder under Source that has my DVD files inside and I thought that was all I need to enter before clicking on the big icon. I also don't know why it won't start burning when I click on the large icon. When I click on it under the Write section it starts burning.
