It's a shame, been hearing some real bad problems with messed up machines after media player 11 gets it's tentacles deep into the OS and then older versions of software like musicmatch or nero won't even install, only way is to start over from scratch, install the older version and then do the updates, and redownload it all over again and again and again

never tried autopatcher as i ve always used nLite, nlite has some issues installing some of the minor updates but it still rocks

So far I have been lucky and I still have ver10, even though I have installed all autoupdates, how can I make sure that ver11 doesnt sneak in to one of the updates?

play around with media player till you get a toolbar at the top that has a help listed
about media player

auto update and automatic yes is a dangerous way to live

just say no to upgrade abuse

It just gives me daily, weekly or monthly options that I can see
I always say no to the update requests, but my girls might not.
