Seems like my computer has been running a little warm to me since i installed a new case for it what do you guys think of these temps from the everest report

    MOBO 93 F
    CPU 120F
    Hard drive 1 97F
    Hard drive 2 102F
these temps of course do fluctuate back and forth a little bit of course

For having several fans this seems a little toasty to me ? could this harm my pc ??

    thanks

Well the expert will have to come along & tell you that but he is probably going to want to know exactly what each one is. Different hardware = different running temps. You might also want to look at this little program.

i'd say it depends on what your system does:

            - idle state / permanent internet connetion => cpu seems a little too high
            - heavy duty video conversion / folding@home => temperatures look normal

you need to know the room temp, the cpu type and what the computer was doing when the temps were measured

                cool room/shop 64F
case is open and 120mm fan unplugged

CPU Type AMD Athlon 64 3800+
CPU FSB 269.22 MHz (original: 200 MHz, overclock: 35%)

                light surfing, small download

                Temperatures:
                Motherboard 24 °C (75 °F)
                CPU 28 °C (82 °F)
                GPU 31 °C (88 °F)
                GPU Ambient 28 °C (82 °F)
                DW CDW63G0-D00NF0A 36 °C (97 °F)
                Seagate ST3250823AS 35 °C (95 °F)

                cpu 39 after 10 minutes at 100%

some cpu's run a lot hotter than others and are fine, the p4 and old amdxp's
run in the 50's and 60's easily.

                          redline(think tachometer(sp)) is 85C diode temp for the amd/xp up to 3200,
keep the fan clean and case temp down and it should give a few more miles

I have noticed glitches when the non-diode temp reaches into the 50's much

hopefully your 57 is a diode temp

Chewy, I am jealous (maybe I need the A/c on in here all the time and the door off).

I run an AMD 3800+ X2 overclocked 25% (interested you OC it to 35%).

In its "resting state", both Mobo and CPU are around 35C (95F). When encoding (both cores 100% used) the CPU gets to about 55-57C.

So, if the OPs temps are under load, then there obviously no issue. If at resting, he probably needs to look at his cooling solutions.

                              Regards
