I could use WMP 10, Cyberlink PowerDvd & Nero as well but I got sick & tired of, couldn't play this & couldn't play that, so that's when I decided to find something else. Last time I gave WMP 10 a shot, every thing that you tried to play with it, it always wanted to call home so I uninstalled it & have never looked back.

I usually don't watch dvd's on my computer anyway, but do use DELL Media, cyberlink power dvd and Media Player to listen to CD's. In two years I don't think I have watched one complete DVD on my computer but it is nice to know which programs do work the best.

Ditto on that one & 0.8.6 would be the latest.

Edit: here you go, VLC 0.8.6.

Yes, also Windows media format 11 runtime would have to be removed too, removing both items from add/remove program rolls back to media player 10 if you had that installed previously.

I am keeping internet explorer 7, so I don't have any knowledge on a roll back to internet explorer 6.

From Blu signature location Media Player Classic shows 6.4.9.0 is the latest issue.

Ed, I am really getting smart, I just did some checking and it is possible to roll back to internet explorer 6. I did a search "roll back to internet explorer 6" and it gave information that you can do it through add/remove programs. Just thought I'd send a short note to let others know it is possible. I'm still on internet explorer 7 for now.
The main thing that I see on explorer 7 is that when you set the print size to large or largest which ever and then adjust throught the size icon at the bottom of the page. to fill the whole screen in ........It just won't stay to the size you indicate. When you go out of the page and then back in the sizes have changed. I wish they'd fix that. Otherwise I don't have alot of problems with it.

                      Just a thought

Maybe just because it is different. I thought I would ask others opinions who have tried this. Is is possible to go back to the previous version through system restore or not?
I always find System Restore fails for anything now and a lot of other people I spoken to about this have the same problem. If you go in your Control Panel to remove Windows Media Player 11 you should be able to go back to number ten. I tried that but it screwed-up for me with an error and I'm stuck with number eleven.
