Thanks Unicam. The bluetooth adapter is built in and i also have Bluesoleil which I happily am able to get to internet with.

The nokia model is Nokia 6260.

The nokia suite is Version 6.82.22.0....

I read somewhere on the net about a guy who has the same problem and update drivers to solve it...i tried now with the link that Stevea gave me but now it wants some file which i dont know where to get....see attachment? how should i proceed?

is the btballoon.dll present on your system or not?

if not, use the attached file

copy the file to eg windows\system32

and then run this command from => start => run:
            regsvr32 "C:\windows\system32\btballoon.dll"

            +++++++

you may need to reboot btw!

i see "IVT" in your task-bar - do you have the following file somewhere on your pc:

                NCLIVTBTMM.DLL

if so try to register this dll as well with a command similar to this one (make sure the path is correct in your case!):

                regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\PCSuite\Transports\NCLIVTBTMM.DLL"

                ++++++++++++

there are many problems reported with bluesoleil and nokia suite and many different solutions proposed

are you using up2date versions of both?

maybe uninstall both and try this order:

                - install IVT bluesoleil
                - reboot
                - install nokia suite
                - reboot

see if that makes a difference but uninstall the former versions first

Ok Nicams we may have some progress I hope...I am struggling with the commands...this is what i have done

I have searched the pc for the file you specified and i found it on this area"C:\Program Files\PC Connectivity Solution"........this makes 1

The second thing that I have done is to run the command but it didnt work...then I started trying to make sense of it...everything u specified in there is a folder it seems maybe except for regsvr32.....I searched for program files, common files, then PCsuite..all were folders but on the PCsuite folder i didnt find transport...is Transport a folder too or just a command?...the folders i found on PCsuite are "data layer, player module and services".....would it help to change transport to one of those three or is the command meant to transport NCLIVTBTMM.DLL into PCsuite folder?

another thing would it help if i change PCsuite and use the PC Connectivity Folder located on programme files instead...i dont know just trying to make sense of things in order to learn it must be a pain

i will try the second approach u propose its just that i really think this could work...whats ur take? did i confuse too much?

Ok Unicams I tried everything I could...I unistalled bluetooth and switched off mp pc, the nokia pc suite and switched off my pc.....nothing helps

The sad thing with nokia pc suite is that the forums that are there suck...and their 24 hour helpline doesnt help with anything at all.....

another alternative would be to reinstall bluetooth and have you taking me step by step to updating with the drivers i downloaded to see if its being done correctly...and then reinstalling bluetooth....otherwise well i guess this is it i may just have to get a cable and work with it...

Now I connected to the net with PC suite using cable connection instead of Bluetoooth in Bluesoleil.....what i dont understand is why bluetooth is not able to work in PC suite as there are all the bluetooth stacks supported:

                        Bluetooth stacks:
                        WIDCOMM Bluetooth stack
                        Version 4.0.1
                        Build 2101

                        Microsoft Bluetooth stack
                        Version 5.1.2600
                        Build 2180

if anybody can solve this please let me know, i am not looking at using a cable for long.....hmm this feels like writting a book

Do you need more software or hardware to add a picture to a mobile as wallpaper? I got a USB lead with mine and I installed the Motorola Phone Tools CD-ROM and it's not listed under All Programs and I guess it's only a driver disc.

                          Many thanks.

                          Darren.
