Burner not recognized by Record Now Max

I just replaced my Pioneer 106D burner in my Sony Vaio but somehow I need to add the new burner to Record Now Max as it has not recognized the new burner and does not list it as with the Pioneer. Does anyone have any solution please. The computer has recognized it as has Nero, but this is only a trial version.

Could you uninstall and reinstall Record Now Max??

If it is like Nero, you may need to find a serial # before uninstalling to restart it.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll try to uninstall Record Now Max and reinstall and see what happens. I understand that the Record Now Max 4.5 is better than the upgrades, is that correct?
