Simple Computer Timer?

My parents are now making me write down what times I get on and off the computer... so I thought I'd ask if anyone knows of a command-line or simple exe timer.

I want one key to start, another to stop, another to reset, and when I start and stop it shows the start/stop times plus the total. Anyone know of one?

LOL But see, that takes effort.

Right now I'm using paper.

And I haven't done anything, that's the problem. When my report card came in, I had 3 B's and 3 A's, so my parents took my computer away period. After she saw I had A's in the classes I had B's in before, she gave it back, but only for an hour and half a day.

Plus, adding times off paper takes effort, and say, I might forget to start it once or twice?

Have you thought of using a pencil (with an eraser) and paper???

What will happen if you are Shinking something that does not require your attention??? Should this count as time on the computer?? You could be doing homework while your computer is processing.

Just like me doing housework while the computer is ripping and shrinking!

It's in XP go to Event Viewer, Security, and it should show every user logon and log off times

i really think your folks need to lighten up drf, no offense. then again i don't know the atrocious acts you may or may not have committed. if it was me i'd be lashing out big time. things would be smashed, tires slashed etc....

I mean really, it sounds like a bunch of BS to me. I used to think you were born with common sence, boy is that ever an illusion.

Since the family is not working together, maybe a class on common sence, needs to be taken.

See, I'm not as mischevious as you all thought

I mean, I did do something bad back in 8th grade that caused me to have to move my computer to the sunroom for a few months, but ever since then I haven't done anything bad! (well except try to mail something to one of my online friends, then lie about it... but that's not computer related either)

They might feel that if you studied more you would do better. How many hours a day were you on the computer before they limited you to 1.5 hours? Have your grades fallen since you started spending a lot of time on the puter? My kids didn't do bad in school but there were times they had to be pushed a little bit.
