I really don't know what is going on; I am sure I configured it correctly. I followed the instructions on here that you fellows provided, & also double-checked in the help section of O.E.

I even called comcast tech, which they informed me that it is an "application problem" & they couldn't help me. At this point I am trying to configure it to check multiple comcast email accts., but I want to try web based email later, if I get this working

Try it with just the To or CC contains the email account.

All 3 conditions would have to be true to move it to a folder and not the inbox.

Ok jm, I did that & it worked!

Aren't you supposed to be able to apply multiple rules, though? I mean, if you are trying to filter out spam & want to apply rules pertaining to the "to, "body" & "from" portions of the email, how would you configure that?

Yes, you can do as many individual rules as you want but all the conditions in each rule would have to be true.

You could do one rule for subject containing "???" and move it to the "???" folder and for all the accounts you are checking if it contained "???" it would move it to the "???" folder

you could make one rule for each account you want to check and send it to it's own folder: I check 4 different accounts at once and they all go to their own folders

to or cc contains katzemail1 email to katzemail1 folder etc.
