Hi..Can anyone tell me if it is possible to end photos back from HD to XD card in the card reader. Might sound daft, but I want to see some existing photos on TV, but cant reach telly. Card would go back in to camera and then plug direct to TV..........Daft, or possible ???????

Not familar with XD card, but I believe it is just like a SD card.
If so, it will act like a little drive in it self. You should be able to copy files not only from, but to.

Use Explorer and try to copy some files to the XD card, then try to play on your TV. Try to stay in the same format & structer.
