new system dilemma

I am looking to add a second cpu for my dvd burning. i am currently using my work machine for burning. the only thing available is vista os. has there been any feedback regarding dvdshrink, ripit4me or the other software working wiht vista? Thanks for any help on this query.

thanks for the info. i have not looked into the admin thing but i am leaning toward doing this and running with a kvm switch. i really do not want ot have to go back into the office to work.
