    SATA Drives.

A while ago I was having ridiculous problems with no DMA and no way to change from PIO 'til Chewy suggested that I download a motherboard mod file which solved the problem but left some unanswered question.

I got in touch with the mobo manufacturer and it turns out that the board is designed for SATA interface and to get the best out of it I would need to change my optical drives to SATA and that the computer manufacturer should have known this.

I got in touch with the manufacturer pointing the problem out and, surprise surprise, two new optical SATA drives arrived in the post and all is running smoothly and VERY fast.

Positive posts about positive customer service experiences are always nice to see. .....unfortunately they seem to be few and far between.

    Congrats

I'm awaiting similar good news from Nissan regarding the replacement of my bedliner under warranty...I think they are starting to slither.
