Ever since I reinstalled VLC, every file associated with it has shown a Real Player icon. How do I fix that? I already set the default back to VLC... but it didn't help.

Open Windows Explorer. Then Tools/Folder Options/File Types. Then Click on each file type u want to change icon for and click Advanced. There u will find option to change the icon.sigpic
