Move I.E. Favorites to Firefox in Linux - not using import command...

I need to move all my I.E. favorites off of my old pc to the new one, on which I am running Linux & Firefox. I don't really know how to go about this, other than copying them over one by one from a backup cd, which would take forever to do.

I can't import obviously, since I am not running I.E. on Linux...

Any suggestions?

since IE exports them as a single html file then why not just open that file with linux firefox import

Yeah I use the same method as Chewy, whether importing to FF from IE, or a saved FF Bookmark file.

In window$ the export from IE went into FF with no problems
