I have a hp pavilion ze5730us that had a celeron 2.8 in it. It was the destop celeron 478. I removed it and got a p 4 2.66 desktop processor in it, and the battery life improved to almost 2 hours. It was about 1 1/2 hours. I want to put a pentium m in the laptop as I hear they are much better on the batter and preform very good. I think the laptop motherboard is socket 478 as both the celeron and p 4 desktop processors are 478. I see several penitum m's that say they are 478. My chipset is ati rs200m. Also would a penitum 4-m be better on battery life over a pentium 4 desktop?
