    Java 6 update 2 caution

I got the little update Icon for Java in my system tray but before updating I googled and found this blog warning about a big bug:

The veracity of the blog I don't know. But it ain't broke so...

I have updated to java 6, update 2 and not aware of any problems, at least AVG anti virus and anti spyware says there are no problems.

They said that about Java 6.1 for linux, too. It was a bit buggy, but then again, isn't everything software related?

        Hi folks,

Updates _1 and _2 do screw up some remote applications ... for example if you are doing online Training ... your pop-up windows will not respond ... just revert back to 6.0 or even 5 and you are in business.

But as Katz says ... pain of new software.

        G!

Ah, from the blog I got the idea that every fileopen dialog was going to hang! Guess I'm just a curmedgeon!! I was happy as hell when I found out an old Honda CRX I bought still had points and condenser!
