    Wireless keyboard and mouse

    hey guys kind of silly question but do you know what the range for a wireless mouse and keyboard is i want to be about 5 feet or so from my computer anyone know if this would work?

    with no obstacles in sight and batteries normally charged this distances in no problem at all for my Logitech set

      but what is the distance 5 feet or 10 feet or what i guess i should explain what i am doing i have a computer in my den it is probably about 6 to 7 feet from there to my couch i just bought a flat panel lcd tv and occasionally i wanted to hook up my computer to my tv via a long cord but then sit on the couch and surf the net, play games etc. thanks for your input.

        i have tried some 13ft this minute with NO obstacle between keyboard and receiver and everything worked fine with rechargeable batteries, which are not fully charged.

        so make sure you can place your receiver somewhere in sight to whereever you plan to sit with your mouse and keyboard and it should work fine.

          My Microsoft 2000 mouse already loses full control of the cursor at about 6-8 ft., so you better make certain you get a wireless mouse with the range you need.
