    flash player trouble

    hi,
ive been having a problem viewing online flash media on some sights(youtube, mtv,my local news sight). like on youtube i sometimes get prompted to update my adobe player to watch a video. in my control panel it shows i have the latest version, and i made sure that java was enabled. but i follow the prompts anyway and install the active x on the adobe page and proceed to download current version. after installation is complete, a security bar on the top of screen drops down and says "internet blocked active x, unsafe.." and offers no allow options. im still unable to view some youtube vid.

    im using xp pro
norten internet sec. 2007 w/ add on pack
    spydoctor, current vers.
ms anti phish/pop up blocker enabled.
ms internet options set to default
    internet e7
if theres anything i left out, please let me know and i will do my best to locate the info.

    thank you very much.
