How can I disable latest Mcafee during video work ?

    Hi,
PC World said get McAfee when asked which Virus and Firewall software would give me spamfilter, firewall and email scanning, and the ability to turn it off during video capture, flight simming and other work where I dont want it popping up with messages or running in the background.
I bought their McAfee Total Protection but cannot see any way of turning it off, or any part of it off. With Version 7 one could right click the tray icon and disable virsucan, firewall, spamkiller etc. Now how is it done ?

McAfee is a nightmare to disable and PERSONALLY i find its garbageware

Try uninstalling it completely and try out Kaspersky Internet Security as its really easy to just turn off everything and is overall a much better package

IMO sry you wasted the money on McAfee, but u aint alone

      Have you tried process explorer?

I disconnect from the net totally and just reboot to reinstall everything.

But I use Comodo firewall, AVG free edition, and MS Defender.
