    NO SOUND WHEN PLAYING DVD's

    Hello
    Can anybody help !
I have recently replaced my 2 DVD drives (ROM & DVDRW) but now I dont hear sound when playing DVD's - The sound is OK when playing music or playing games but when playing a DVD the movie plays but with no sound.
I dont get any error messages from windows media player and device manager reports that my sound driver is OK.
I also swopped my sound card at the same time and Vista has updated the sound driver automatically so I dont know if that has anything to do with the problem.
Thank you for any help in advance !

First make sure the sound is playing back over your speakers not the headphones, my system defaulted to headphones automatically
