I/O Device Error -

Just started yesterday, trying to rip a movie to the HD so I can take into work to watch using VLC. Done this to many movies to play on my Pasport at work. No problems, till now. No mater what I use, DVDFab Decrypter, Shrink, Nero about 50sec into ripping, the error pops up- I/O Device Error.

I uninstalled the DVD in device mgr, rebooted so XP will auto install, checked the DMA (ok). Still no go.

Any ideas?
