Doesn't look like they deliver to Ireland. Not on their list anyway.

Going by what I have read using searches, NEC seem to be very popular. Any particular model you would recommend Cynthia?

Find out the media code of the brand of discs you will normally use - and then find some reviews/test results of burnings with that mediacode for the various burners you are interested in.

Upgraded some other things first while still using my trusty Freecom FX50.

I'm now back on the trial again and have earmarked this..

Well, no comments, good or bad, so it must be ok.

Installed above a few minutes ago. Worked straight away without any agro.

Am now doing my first burn with it and burning at X4 seems to be taking ages. My FX50 was faster by USB.

What do I need to check? Firmware etc?

                      Sorted.

Checked the obvious first. It was set to PIO. Now on DMA.

                      Working like a dream now.
