    APL Files

Does anybody know any software that can convert APL files to music files? The image of this file has Plug In written at the bottom and it looks as if it has a picture of a lego brick in the middle.

    Many thanks.

What I understand is that the APL file is the metadata link to a Monkey's Audio file with .ape extension. Try Foobar2000 for conversion. At the Foobar page go to Optional Components to download the Monkey's Audio decoder.
Goldwave also seems to have a plugin for Monkey's Audio file support.

MAny thanks for the links. I tried those softwares but they failed. They never show the files even when I choose All Files. Do you know any others, please? I did try a few others with no joy. I don't know why so many file converting software either never works properly or not at all. I've had this with video file convertions where they do strange and different stuff at random and it's not because my settings are wrong. One moment things work well and the next I get the odd problem and later that problem fixes itself and another crashes in. That is with video converstion softwares but I hope the audio conversions don't play mind games when I manage to get something working.

      Many thanks.

      Darren.
