socket 754 with a decent cpu, with a gig of slow ram, and a mid level agp card
decent older system, but not very upgradable, power supply already looks weak so instead of putting any money into this system I would just plan on building a new one -

Thanks Chewey. Would it be to much for you to suggest a list of bits from case upwards. No hurry, It will take time to afford and gather all the bits. There seems to be quite cheap AMD dual cores around here, so would prefer mobo which will take them.......Thanks again.....regards
