You know what Chewy gives you will work, but if you get the time, I have two other paths for you to check out.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ahead\Nero Toolkit\CDSpeed\CD Quality\value: Blocked\Right click\Modify-leave something in there.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Ahead\Nero Toolkit\CDSpeed\CD Quality\value: Blocked\Right click\Modify-leave something in there.

Here's problem #2... Nero 8 is a loaner for 30 days, One program I needed to burn an audio book. The stand alone won't work since it has graphs and audio (I'm guessing that's right)
OK I'm gonna keep this CDSpeed.exe on my computer when I dump Nero 8 but guess what?! The Speed works in Nero 8 but not on the 4.7.7.15 version that Chewy had me to download. (I'm keeping that version)
But I need to modify that version also, I ran the regedit like I did the first time but I can not seem to find the one for Speed 4.7.7.15.
Direct me there if you don't mind, and THANK you for remembering that! Like I said it's tested and works.

Also that your friend that reminded you about that...

Ohhh if you have a moment.. please tell me why does the company or the software do that in the first place?!

SOUP... I forgot to edit these so I don't get in trouble, but yeah I saw your last post after I left you the note before this one, I fixed them all and they work, I just understand why they do that in the first place

Chewy you'll laugh about this one.. I Edited like Soup daid when the CDSpeed was opened I just hadn't gone to disk quality yet... but when I did I got the "Start" button and it worked without a restart.. strange huh?!

Just look through the paths i gave you in Post #17, I got everything working. Don't worry if yours doesn't look the same as in my pic, I renamed the exes.

Edit: didn't catch your EDIT, but as long as all is good, that's what counts. From what I think Chewy states, is that it is all about money, somebody not paying for something. I think Chewy can explain it a lot better & if I am wrong, I apologize. I forgot to mention that I have shortcuts on the Desktop for all three, as shown in Pic #2.
