Hello everybody anyone know anything about solid state hard drives? I know their are a few out there and are way too expensive to buy. So anyone heard any news when they making it affordable to desktops?

they still are way too expensive & will stay so for quite some time - i'd say at least for another 18 month

but of course the technique itself is promising
