Would you buy this 7 port USB powered hub?

I like the idea of all those ports, & wanting a powered unit, this looks like a great deal; $11.50, but it is a "no-name" brand?

Would you go for it or not? Being a cheapo unit, could it damage my devices in any way?

I don't want to risk damaging a $500.00 camera on a $12.00 device...
What do y'all think?

Using a pci add in card will free up resources and supply extra power

I prefer that option after reading over at another forum

One of the advisors over at beepingcomputer suggested that after I pointed out the power limitations of motherboard usb to someone losing their devices. Sort of kill 2 birds with one stone that way, or at least it's working for him.
