Sure; you may need to go into the BIOS to configure which you want to boot first; conversly, some BIOS on later pc's give you an option at boot to hit a certain key to select which HD you want to boot to in multi-boot OS configurations.
But if you are not doing multi boot, it is easy enough. Just connect up & all should work fine for storage drives.

E optical IDE drive Plextor 708A
F optical SATA drive Plextor 716SA
G hard drive partition off drive C (fat 32)
