does nero work on vista?

hey all

1) i have a full version of nero 6.0.0.8.

2) bought a new seagate HD 259 gb barracuda. 2 days after i installed it i hear a light chirp sound. it happens evry now and then, once or twice a day maybe. it's garbagio, right?

1) will not work with Vista, NOTE: Version 7.7.5.1 is the minimum for Vista Compatibility .

2) Might be the heads chirping when moving, may not be fatal, but not sure.

I got one of those Seagates and it is making more noice if two programs try to access the same disk (both very HD active).

ok ty both. yeah this thing will chirp once or twice a day even if idle. hope i can get till the end of the year at least.
