PS3 Fan Test (Video) - for 40 GB machines

Just saw this video:

Apparently this also helps to blow out dust from inside the machine, but as usual, use at your own risk.

I haven't seen the video,but I have read about this before.I wonder why they didn't do this with 60 & 80GB PS3s?

There is a video of a fan test mode for the 60 GB version, but apparently it might cause damage to the console so I've not linked to it (the "test" actually forces the 60 GB to overheat, which then forces the fan to come on full strength).
