The K-Lite Codec Pack is a free software bundle for high quality playback of all your music and video files. It is easy to use, but also very flexible with many options. Enjoy problem free playback of MKV, MP4, AVI, FLV, and all other multimedia file formats.
the guys that started the klite codec pack hacked into realplayer and quicktime
there's been a lot of controversy and real and apple are not happy, they hate you using their code with being able to install advertising to pay for itComment

Report: It looks like if you update Java, say from 5 to 6, it will return, but if you run the program again, it will handle it. As for the two in the pic, gave it a shot 4 times, no go. BTW I used it on my XP64 yesterday.Attached Files

@soup - read post 14 to disable CTFMON.
That NvCpl does go away but every boot it asks if you wanna run it again (Spybot Tea Timer can deny).

Look into your windows services and see if the "nvidia driver helper" service is
running. This service will insert the nvcpl into your startup registry
everytime you boot your PC.
Go to "Start" >> Contol Panel >> Administrative Tools >> Services
In Services look for the Nvidia Driver Helper Service. If the service is started, double click on the service, this will open the service "Properties".
Where you see "Startup Type", set this to disable.
Under "Service status", click on "Stop", click "Apply", click "OK", exit ServicesComment

New report: I have shutdown CTFMON before, but I have done a couple of clean installs since. I also have a new strategy, don't do anything late at night if you want to get to bed, so CTFMON can wait. Thanks guys.Attached Files
