vista wallpaper problem

I have no idea if this is the right place for this or not but im looking to put up new wallpaper on my desktop.The problem im having is i cant seem to find any clean wallpaper..by that i meen just the picture and none of the damn garbage 3rd part crap they wanna put in your system.the second problem im having is when i do find one it puts in the crap but then i cant find the image anywhere in the pc and it doesnt put it on my desktop....is there a trick to this or what?

I just use IrfanView to resize any image and set it as wallpaper. Also if you have a .bmp you want to use IrfanView can convert it to .jpg to use less memory.

Go to Options Menu and Set As Wallpaper. Couldn't be easier.

(btw if you are trying to use something that's copy protected that's
another issue. If you can't find a royalty free image make your own.
Take a picture and weird it out in gimp or photofiltre. .. end of
public service announcement)
