    Paint shop pro

Hi all. unusual query for me. I have (had) some photos of grandaughter which I was dragging from folder to PSP minimised on toolbar, and accidently dropped several on the way (on a blank space.) Before when I did this they 'bounced'' back to where they came from. These didnt, and I cant find them anywhere, in fact they dont exist on the HD at all. Where did they go ????
    Any suggestions please !!!!!

Use your PC Search and type each photo title exactly the way you named them and you should find them. Make sure the correct hard drive is selected encase you have more than one hard drive. With XP, you can find Search when you click on Start. If you use Vista, (if I'm not mistaken), Search in Vista is at the top of the Control Panel on the right-hand side. Seach has helped me find missing files and folders that went adrift. When you find them, you can right-click on each item and send them to the Documents folder so that you can save them to where you really want them. You can also open them in Search and save them where you want to save them without the Send To option. I prefer to use the Send To so that I have an extra copy for the time being and I can get to whatever quicker encase it's a large folder with so many photos where I might have to save the rest later.

in case they got accidentally deleted do NOT save anything to that hd and use a recovery software in order to seek and restore the files.
