I have all my gmail set to forward thru my ISP, so I can check all accounts at once. So, since I don't go to the gmail page, I don't use their themes. I use T-bird mail, & I am using the standard theme on that.

I love them. I used Yahoo for years and at some point I always thought Google had a bland Homepage with a few icons with their Search Engine. I left Yahoo because their server was always dead slow. Then when I tried Google as my one, I noticed the option Classic Home where you can add this 'n' that to create your own Google Homepage and it's great. So much better than boring Yahoo. I must say, the only problem with Googlemail is, the attachemnts can only be sent much smaller and Google don't support Zip Files and RAR Files.

I'll rather use Google now anyway because Yahoo are riddled with errors. I have high speed Broadband and it used to take me a minute to open my Inbox unless it crashed first.

I just sent a ZIP file over Gmail. No problem whatsoever.

I also believe Gmail has increased their file send size to 20MBs. I also like the send files option in Googletalk.

depends on mindsets of coders.... like u can not use few linux version without passwords, but u can with some.

same with server editions of windows

Themes are awesome. It also depends where you're at on how the theme appears. Mine is phantasia. I'm in NYC so in the morning it's beautiful aqua color. By evening it changes to a darker color. Still beautiful and I chose that one because I too didn't like the way the other ones were so dark to read cause of the background.

I chucked TB and almost, but not totally removed outlook as you can't completely. Staying w/Gmail, Googletalk and also put in the Gmail notifier w/https option in Gmail and downloaded the patch so notifier will work w/https. Have everything forwared from my isp account str8 to Gmail. Love it. Quick and yes very safe and nothing downloading directly onto my pc.

Been checking this out> Gdow. Softpedia did a lil review on it. Interesting app.. Might not get it but who knows.

It's funny. I don't know how much research you guys have done on e-mail apps. and safety etc... but common sense kicked in for me and I was cracking up on how ridiculous some users felt about certain e-mail apps.. Of course it's an individual preference and we all use them differently and for different purposes, but where it got crazy was storage and even some inputs on security.

Oh well common sense ain't too common anymore. Lol...
