First few days with windows 7 build 6956

relative of mine came to fix his pc i installed windows 7 on that machine.........

celeron 2.60 512 mb ram sis chipset..... memory at 60 % system runs smooth nothing else is installed .
can vista do that

Makes me wonder how the 64 bit version is. It would be cool to get a 64 bit system with lots of ram that ran smooth out of the box. It's always a guessing game though how long this stuff takes to get to market.

edit: btw the right hand side start button may have been some specialized W7 theme or something. I don't remember where I saw it.
