    Imageready Avi Help

Hoping someone can help me out. I usually use imageready to create gifs but lately the video converter I had was complete crap. So I'm now using handbrake which is alot better compared to what I was using.

Though my problem now is that imageready will not read any of the files. I've converted from dvd using xvid, ffmpeg, and x264. All of them open but I get a blank white quicktime screen in imageready. Quicktime is installed, as I know that is an issue if it's not installed.

Not really sure what can fix the problem but hopefully someone can help.

If not, would Virtualdub be the next best choice? Since i heard you can just rip to jpeg images.

    1. imageready has been discontinued since cs2 (and replaced by fireworks) so it is not up-2-date and this might be one reason your version will not accept new codes

    2. why dont you try outputting your sequence to bmp/tiff (i'd use rather lossless formats and not jpg) directly from dvd and then load the single frames into imageready?
