How can I disable DVD Shrink?

I have DVD Shrink installed and have installed The Sims 2 game. The game will not run as it gives a message of 'CD/DVD emulation software has been detected. Please disable all CD/DVD emulation software and restart the game'. I have disabled Nero Drive Image and Clone CD but cannot work out how to disable DVD Shrink short of uninstalling it. Can anyone out there please help?? Thanks in advance

i very much doubt that shrink has anything to do with this message

are you sure not to have DEAMON tools or similar tools running?

Thanks for getting Back to me. I do not have any Daemon software on the computer (not that I am aware of). It appears that my only recourse of action will be to uninstall DVD Shrink.

then simply give it a try:

uninstall shrink and see if that solves your problem

i am not aware of any such behaviour so i still doubt uninstalling will actually solve your problem but uninstalling this software won't harm so you can savely see for yourself

I did not have to unistall DVD Shrink as I went to the EA website and downloaded their update. Thanks for the inputs to my problem.
