I just cannot see "Search" option when I click to Start button.
I want to uninstall Opera completly via Search option.
Please let me know that how can I have this option into
    Start meny?

I am using Windows Vista Home Premium.

Have you tried the F3 key, it should bring up "search". Also if you want to remove a program, Revo Uninstaller does a good job and has several options for the beginner to the pro. It is free.

Other than the F3 key, there are several ways to get back the option, let me know if it works or if you still need another way. Sometimes you may have to click start then hit the F3 key to notice it, sometimes when browsers are open the F3 key opens search in the browser tool bar.

It's right below all programs. I have not found the "Button" like we used to have in XP.

BTW Opera does not really like going away. You might want to read HERE.

It suggests using Revo un-installer that can be found HERE. It is also compatible with Vista.

      Good Luck

On some machines that do not have SP1 from the factory installed, when you update to SP1 the search option goes away, I am not sure if this is his case or not, but it does happen to some. Again it can be retrieved, but the F3 key should not be affected by this glitch in some peoples update.

            Hi again GR7,

What I would do is re-install Opera again, but this time use Revo un-installer to remove. Use moderate settings. It will look for the leftover garbage you want to get rid of.

            It can be found HERE.

            It is also freeware.

GR7, have you tried any of the suggestions I posted? Like the F3 key?

If that works, do you still want the option to show, as I stated before it can be fixed.

Did your computer come with SP1 or did you update to it? To recieve the best help you need to try the suggestions and answer the questions posted. I mean, I, myself can not tell what you have or have not tried, or what might be the problem until more information is given.

I see from your other thread that maybe you finally tried Revo Uninstaller to remove your Opera, is this true?

Hmmmmm, forgive me but it seems like this thread is a bit ironic. But then again I got a kick out of downloading an update to fix the windows update.

Yes, I tried with F3 key.
But even this method just couldn`t delete all Opera files.
When I want to delete Opera coplete in my laptop pc then I do it
via its SEARCH option, and its delete all completly. This is what my new
desktop pc not doing. I reinstalled Opera after deleted then I saw that all
                      Bookmarks sites was there etc....

Problem is that my laptop pc SEARCH option shows all installed
                      files and delete all completly.

But new pc even SEARCH option via F3key just couldn`t do it.

                              No, I didn`t.
Because I just redused bookmark pages into Opera.
There it hasn`t happened yet that when I open Opera
then its opening with an empty page and my all sites
                              are gone.

                              But . . . . . . I must say here that I`m still confused that why
my new pc just cannot clean Opera totally even via SEARCH/F3key
                              option
