How to Resize Hard Drive Partitions?

Take it into the shop & tell them exactly what you did, don't hold back on anything. I think they will probably do a fresh install, but they might try to repair the MBR, (Master Boot Record). That 8MBs is there for a really good reason.

One thing though stay very far away the Geek Squad. They are a total rip off. The repair prices are too high for what they do.
