Sandboxie is one of the mo0st important programs I have.

The beta still has some bugs afa immediate recovery. I hope Tzuk gets it fixed soon. I think he added a bunch of features lately so that can make it tough to track the bug down. But he'll get there!
Now if I can only find something to run on Vista64 that isn't flaky. DiskWriteCopy looks like it might be interesting but the download is only a demo, not a full trial. No point risking mucking up my system if I can't even see how it will really work.
edit: just fyi, I installed the latest Sandboxie beta and it still doesn't like immediate recovery with Minefield(although it pops up as soon as you quit Minefield) but Opera 9.64 seems to work as expected.
edit2: another bit of info. Minefield seems to work with Sandboxie Immediate Recovery if you let Gigaget do the downloading. Maybe it just doesn't like Minefield built-in dm?
Just fyi, it looks like the Sandboxie beta won't work with the latest W7 builds. I have 7077 and I see on the forum there that 7100 works ok. Just thought I'd mention it if anyone is counting on Sandboxie. Looks like tzuk is going to hold off messing with any more W7 support on this beta.
edit: just going by one report on the Sandboxie beta forum. For what it's worth.
All the more reason to keep with XP, if you ask me.
The rest is just making Bill richer.

It's going away. It's just a matter of time. You guys who build your own can hang on the longest. But eventually there just won't be drivers. Anyone seen any Win98 drivers for 750 GB drives?
I saw in one the Antivirus Forums that someone actually got a Nasty Bug thru Sandboxie ... so I guess it is NOT Bullet-Proof ... or make sure you use it correctly.
One of these days I need to download and install it and learn how to use it correctly.
Windows 7 build 7077 doesn't seem to like 3.40. Guess I'll stick with 3.38 until the bugs shake out. Your mileage may vary. The Windows 7 support still seems to be build sensitive.
