Free copy of Corel Paint Shop Pro X

It's not the latest version, but for most people, it will be more than enough for graphics/photo editing, with support for a lot of advanced features. I should know because I use PSP 7 to make pretty much all the graphics you see on Digital Digest. Cnet gave this version 3.5 stars out of 5, and the software is valued at $60. The only annoying thing about this version is that when you close it, there's a pop-up window to remind you to purchase PSP XI, which can be closed instantly. I think this version was originally included with Lexar USB drives.

Use the link below to download the retail installer.

    Good find!

I still think version 9 is still the best though which was the last one produced by Jasc.

Corel cut out a lot of the functionality when they took over this product with the official excuse being that they wanted to write their own versions of the existing routines but I suspect the real reason was so that it wasn't such a direct competitor to Photoshop and to differentiate between the two products.

I'm still using version 7, and have a copy of version 5 somewhere.

I have download it. It is quite a good software. I can live with the pop up at the end of each session.
