    Apophysis - fractal flames editing

I'm playing around a bit with Apophysis and I'm just wondering if anyone has a good pointer to tutorials with the insider tips on the actual editing process. I notice a lot of the tutorials will give the numbers for the forumulas, but when it comes to the actual editing you get "play around with the triangles" with not much clue how to do stuff like generate recurring or duplicate images, layers, etc.. Guess all the cool effects are a secret. Anyone know of "tell all" tutorials?

I think Kabuchan is the only fractal specialist I know.

I haven't gone through all the tutorials yet. Just seems like they have that in common. Sort of like programming. You don't give away all your tricks.

I am sure when she sees this, she will help as much as she can. Kabuchan is good people. I am not saying that just to test drive her new ride either, wink, wink.

I hate to ask a particular person on a board for help. Kind of puts them on the spot. Unless of course I've been ripping my hair out for a couple of days. Then the scruples become expendable.

I'm just more curious than anything. If it's a lot of work then I already have a quota of frustrations to keep me busy.

deviantART is probably the best place to learn something about digital art.
