I was looking on newegg and to buy a version of windows 7 for myself and theres so many different ones. Windows 7 Pro full retail for 274.00 ,would that be 64 or 32 bit?

Home Premium should be fine for 90% of people, while Ultimate is for the other 10% that needs HDD/USB encryption, XP mode, Virtual HD booting, and the other business functions most people won't need. Pro is best avoided since it's only a tiny bit cheaper than Ultimate, but lacks what are probably the most useful features Ultimate has over Home Premium.Comment
