Windows Messenger

Dear All,

When I start my new mini laptop then Windows Messenger also start up
on desktop. How can I quite with it, that it no more will automatically start up
after I strat my pc. Thank you

press "windows key"(between ctrl and alt) + "r"

now type in: msconfig

in msconfig go to the tab on the right hand side: it will list all autostart entries
UNtick the msn entry

furthermore you might want to check the tab "services" and see if any entry for msn can be found - if so also disable/untick it

reboot system

this should normally help
