    opera 10.5 claims......

can we test the claim about it being the fastest browser? i know there was some test of java script or something...
Seems like as soon you buy somehing, v. 2 comes out 1.5 times as fast!..!

I tried it and didn't notice any speed boost relative to 10.10. Then again I don't know if you have to set some params or if it's supposed to be faster out of the box.

The Firefox 3.7 alpha2 I didn't notice the page content snap on, but some of the form controls won't work, such as TV Guide pop-down program descriptions. Seems like every time I try a new Firefox nightly or alpha or beta, it's faster, but the TV Guide descriptions and Silverlight video won't function. The next generation seems to have the same effect. I wonder sometimes if it's just being in a new folder makes it seem snappier for awhile. The speed increment seems the same with every update for some strange reason.

Another reason I just uninstall these so-called new builds or w/e after some hang up or w/e. FF has been 1 long Beta since it's inception. Are these guys bored? Do things change that drastically that they need to redo themselves every few weeks or so?

I stood w/IE for now. MS will be doing something new soon as the rumor is IE 8 is last IE.

No issues. Even while on Google.com using Gmail and video/chat etc...
      SAMSUNG SH-S203B, SAMSUNG SH-S223F,

Take the suggestions and follow the directions. The results will speak for themselves.

      Google is definitely our friend.

If you like IE and haven't tried MaxThon you should give it a go. No more FireFox AddOn envy. There's all kinds of user plugins for MaxThon. It uses the IE engine but it's had tabbed browsing since before XP I think.
