Can anyone else connect to BootLand?

I just got an update email from bootland. But I haven't been able to connect to their web forum for the last week. Can anyone else connect to

It's working for me right now (using both Google Chrome and Firefox).

Try a traceroute? Could be the path to their server is down, or just some component on there that's not loading perhaps (like the ads or something).

If I do Traceroute it gets about 10 hops, then times out. I don't remember running into this before. Either a server is up or it's down.

Here's the last few hops on my traceroute:

              7 183 ms 183 ms 184 ms init7.net.any2ix.coresite.com [206.223.143.85]
              8 328 ms 336 ms 328 ms r1lon1.core.init7.net [82.197.168.70]
              9 338 ms 333 ms 341 ms r1ams1.core.init7.net [77.109.128.34]
              10 340 ms 341 ms 341 ms r1fra1.core.init7.net [77.109.128.153]
              11 340 ms 340 ms 340 ms gw-hetzner.init7.net [77.109.135.18]
              12 403 ms 345 ms 345 ms hos-bb1.juniper1.fs.hetzner.de [213.239.240.242]
              13 346 ms 346 ms 345 ms hos-tr2.ex3k5.rz11.hetzner.de [213.239.228.38]
              14 345 ms 345 ms 345 ms static.146.20.63.178.clients.your-server.de [178.63.20.146]
Are you getting anywhere near the final hop (static.146.20.63.178.clients.your-server.de), if not then it's probably some kind of routing error and it will probably clear itself up. If you do get to the last hop before the actual BootLand server, and then it times out, a possible explanation is that they may have blocked your IP address/range for some reason.

The last one I did completed. It's strange because it connects but says "waiting for..." forever. Most peculiar. It's like something is putting me in limbo. This has been going on for 9 or 10 days.

You might have to contact the admin of BootLand then, I think. You could also try Firefox with the no-ads/Javascript plugin, as that would at least remove the ads and scripts, which may be a source of the loading problem.

I think you had it right. There must be a range of IPs being blocked. I used an anonymizer and logged in. So they must not be pissed at me personally. Some nitwit prolly hit them with a dos attack or something.

I have no reason to go there for the moment. I'll see if it clears up on its own.
