Connecting A Menu to Two Others

I have some of my home movies on DVD 4.7-GB discs. I want to send two discs worth off through the mail but I'd like to add both discs worth on a 8.5GB disc to make the P&P cheaper. Both of the discs have a menu on each and I'm wondering if it's possibloe to create a menu that links to each other two menus that link to the movies. This means there would be a main menu that llinks to two other main menues that link to the moves. Can this be done and what software do I need?

i dont know any other way but to complete reauthor the disk. others may know a better way.

It sounds like one of those things you may be able to do with IfoEdit. I would try to get blutach's attention as he's been using it for years.

If you can't do it with IfoEdit that's probably the fasted way to find out.

Many thanks for the info you two. I don't know how to use IfoEdit and I went through it a lot and it only allows me to add one file at a time. I tried DVD Copy 5 but it's not compatable with my Windows 7. Is there a Windows 7 edition? I've looked everywhere and I've only found forums where other people with Windows 7 had problems.

I may be wrong but I tend to think what you want to do would be very complicated. Just because the variables they use for menus and buttons would likely have name clashes. You only expect one top level menu if you see what I mean.

If you just pull out the titles and reauthor, as atifsh suggested, that should be pretty easy.. notwithstanding layer break issues. The subtitles and audio should be selectable via buttons on the remote.

But if you insist on the menus I don't know of any quick and dirty way.

First, I've completed some home movies on DVD with a root menu with each and each are on 4.7-GB discs and I want to put two sets on one 8.5-GB disc. Also also want to find a way how to add two 4.7-GB discs worth on one 8.5GB disc where there would be three root menues on the 8.5-GB disc. The main root menu and it would have two disc titles. When I select one another root menu would appear with my home movie titles and then I can play the movies under that section and then when I want to play the other set of home movies I go back to the main root menu and select the second title that leads to another root menu with my home movie titles and I can play any from the other set.

and on AfterDawn forum. I never got past making the simple button menus. "Play All" is as exotic as it got for me.
